What This Site Is
Most “best skin clinic in Korea” lists online are written by the clinics themselves, or by sites paid to feature them. We do something different: we look at what Naver Place — the map and review platform Korean patients actually use — shows for a given neighborhood, and we lay it out plainly. Clinic name, location, review counts, listed doctors, and treatment tags, all recorded the same way for every clinic in a list.
We don’t rank or recommend clinics. We don’t decide who’s “best,” and a clinic’s position in a list is simply where it appeared in Naver’s results at the time we checked — not our judgment of its quality. That position reflects search and listing activity on Naver, and says nothing about a clinic’s clinical skill, the qualifications of its doctors, or the standard of care you would receive. More neighborhoods are added as we verify them. Each list carries the date it was last checked, because clinic hours, staff, and Naver’s own rankings change.
What Every List Contains
Across the seven neighbourhoods verified so far, the lists cover 124 clinics: 73 in Seoul (Gangnam, Apgujeong and Samseong-dong with twenty each, Jongno and Gwanghwamun with thirteen) and 51 in Busan (Seomyeon and Haeundae with twenty each, Nampo-dong with eleven). Every clinic is recorded with the same eight fields, so a list can be read down a column rather than entry by entry.
Two of those columns are worth understanding before you use them. Board-certified doctors shows what a clinic has entered on its own Naver profile, and 52 of the 124 have entered something. The other 72 have not, which is an absence of published information rather than a finding about who practises there. Main tags are the treatment keywords a clinic chose for itself, and 53 of the 124 publish none at all — more often in Busan than in Seoul.
The rest is factual and checkable: the administrative dong, whether the profile is marked wheelchair accessible (29 of the 124 are), the visit and blog review counts Naver displays, and links out to both Google Maps and Apple Maps so you can confirm the location yourself rather than take ours.
What the lists deliberately do not contain is a verdict. There is no score, no editor’s pick and no “best of” ordering, because the order is Naver’s and it moves. A clinic that sits near the top of a list on the date shown may sit lower a week later without anything about the clinic having changed.

- Dated, not evergreen: every list carries the date it was last checked, because this information changes.
- Independently verifiable: every list links out to Google Maps and Apple Maps for each clinic so you can check it yourself.
